What it does
Parker Dewey offers Micro-Internships for college students, graduates and career changers. These are short, fixed-fee professional projects available throughout the year, with the assignment timeline and candidate payment shown before applying.
Compare the deliverable with the available time. The FAQ describes projects commonly taking ten to forty hours, with a completion window of roughly a week to a month. They can cover work such as research, analysis and communications, and the client decides whether the arrangement is remote, onsite or mixed.
Candidates create a profile, apply to relevant assignments and work with the company after selection. Applying and network membership have no candidate fee. The platform retains 10% of the employer’s project payment; the amount shown to candidates is their 90% share. It handles contract and invoicing administration. International students need appropriate work authorisation and should use their institution’s support when checking eligibility. The project is a defined assignment, so judge the required work rather than assuming the experience has the schedule of a traditional summer internship.
Participants must be at least 18. International students must attend a US institution or join an eligible partner programme and have approved work authorisation. Parker Dewey pays completed projects directly, by direct deposit or physical check.
