What it does
Passwords is a Nextcloud application with password storage, folders, tags, sharing, imports and a documented API.
Nextcloud Passwords makes the existing Nextcloud server the place to administer a credential app. Its official site describes read-only or editable sharing with optional expiration dates, useful when a shared account belongs to a particular project.
Check compatibility with the installed Nextcloud version before installation; the official app-store page supplies a release matrix. Running the app also means including its data and encryption configuration in the server's backup plan. Server-side and optional client-side encryption are different documented settings.
