What it does

Paubox Email Suite integrates with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to protect outbound email. It documents enforced TLS delivery and a secure-link fallback when a recipient server lacks suitable TLS.

Paubox’s main workflow aims to remove the sender’s need to choose an encryption toggle for every message. Mail continues through Gmail or Outlook, with protection applied by the service. The product page says ordinary delivery uses TLS 1.2 or later.

The fallback is important: when a recipient server does not support the required TLS, Paubox delivers a protected link instead. That is transport-oriented mail protection with another delivery route, not a reason to call every message device-to-device end-to-end encrypted. Review recipient behavior along with the organization’s Workspace or Microsoft 365 configuration.

Strengths

  • Outbound protection can be applied automatically.
  • A protected-link fallback is documented for unsuitable recipient servers.

Best for

  • Organizations seeking automatic protection for Workspace or Microsoft 365 mail
