What it does
Amazon Payment Services provides a merchant gateway for Middle Eastern and North African markets, with local payment methods and payable invoices. Businesses apply for merchant approval and use the regional commercial agreement for fees and settlement. Monthly account charges and transaction fees apply to several published Standard plans.
The service accepts companies legally established in the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman or Bahrain. The receiving business bank account must match the merchant company. Submit the business and product details through Get Started, complete onboarding, and agree the acquiring bank's settlement timetable. A shopping account alone does not provide the merchant payment dashboard.
Send and follow an invoice link
Configure the English and Arabic terms URLs under General Information and the payment-notification addresses under Technical Settings. Then open Invoice Management > Generate New Invoice. Enter the merchant reference, customer email, amount, notification type, expiry and currency. Amazon Payment Services sends the link by the selected email or SMS route, and the customer pays on its hosted page.
Use the date filter in Invoice Management to find the request and check its status. Open the invoice number to close an unpaid link or change an expired link's date. Results can be exported as XML, CSV, Excel or PDF. Batch creation from a CSV file and software-based creation are available when many customer requests need to be generated.
