What it does
Paymo is a web-based platform for managing client work. It combines time tracking, task and project management, team scheduling, and invoicing in one system. Users can track time in a browser or with desktop and mobile apps, build timesheets, turn billable hours into invoices, track expenses, and accept online payments. A 15-day free trial is offered with no credit card required.
Time can be tracked through a browser timer, the Paymo Track desktop app for Windows, Mac, and Linux, or iOS and Android mobile apps. Paymo Track can record computer activity automatically and turn it into a timesheet. Task views include list, table, board, calendar, and Gantt, with Kanban boards, task dependencies, priorities, and templates. Planning tools cover milestones, project templates, Gantt charts, and a portfolio Gantt chart. Invoicing supports estimates that convert to invoices, recurring invoices, multiple invoice languages, and connections to online payment providers. Reports include static and live time reports, user reports, and pie or bar charts that can be shared with clients. Guest access lets external users follow project progress. The platform offers an API and third-party integrations, and it is available in multiple languages.
