What it does
Pay. supplies merchant payment methods, ecommerce integrations, terminals, phone acceptance and unattended collection. It accepts businesses from listed European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium and Slovenia. Registration and document approval are required for payouts; a lasting Pioneer account has no monthly fee, but successful transactions are charged.
Use the Dutch dashboard to follow an individual transaction from collection through payout. Open Transacties, search by transaction number, reference or date, and use the magnifying glass under Opties to view its details.
Check the payment Status alongside the processing history. Under Betrokken geldstroom, the funds view distinguishes receipt by Pay. from release for a later payout. A settlement date alone does not establish arrival in your bank account; the configured payout frequency still applies.
Package costs
The main Dutch tariff page currently presents these packages, with transaction charges in addition:
| Package | Monthly access | Practical distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Pioneer | EUR 0 | Professional transaction rates plus EUR 0.05 per transaction and 0.25% of turnover |
| Professional | Confirm the current quote | Standard merchant tools and payment-method access |
| Business | EUR 89 | Extra revenue groups and bank accounts, with an account manager |
| Premium | Quote | Arrangement for larger organizations and specialist sectors |
The same tariff lists Dutch iDEAL/Wero transactions at EUR 0.19 on Professional and EUR 0.17 on Business. Confirm the current subscription amount and package terms before signing.
Upload the requested registration, identity, ownership and business-bank documents after creating the account. The precise list depends on the legal form of the business; payouts begin after approval under the agreed payout schedule.
Strengths
- The mobile app can create payment links and show transaction and turnover information.
- Payment links can specify allowed methods and an expiry period.
Watch out for
- Pioneer displays the company name; showing a registered trading name requires a paid package.
- Direct-debit collection requires at least the Professional package.
Best for
- European merchants coordinating online and physical-store payments
- Businesses comparing monthly package costs against transaction volume
