What it does

Paysafe provides merchant payment processing for shops, online businesses and service providers. Its small-business offer covers in-person payments, remote invoices, recurring billing and sales reporting. Businesses apply for an account, with products and commercial terms tailored to their market and processing needs.

Match the payment setup to the sales channel

Paysafe's small-business range includes point-of-sale collection, website or app checkout, and remote invoice payments. Its US range also includes Clover for linking inventory, customers and payments. The iAccess portal brings transaction history into a merchant dashboard, including completed, pending and failed payments and chargeback activity.

For example, a shop using Clover can manage its sales and inventory there while reviewing processing activity through its Paysafe merchant tools. Availability of a particular integration depends on the selected merchant offering.

Understanding the quote

The US Interchange Plus programme is for eligible US business owners. Its price combines card-network interchange and assessments with Paysafe's markup and other applicable charges. The public programme lists a 0.50% interchange markup, but that percentage is only one part of the cost. Customer-service and chargeback fees are listed separately.

To begin that application, provide the business name, contact details and monthly processing volume. Paysafe assesses the business and can tailor pricing according to its category and volume. A US programme quote should not be treated as the tariff for every country or Paysafe product.

Strengths

  • Small-business tools include recurring billing and remote invoice collection
  • Merchant dashboards show sales trends and customer payment activity

Watch out for

  • The advertised US Interchange Plus programme requires merchant eligibility review
  • Interchange and network assessments are additional to the processor markup

Best for

  • Businesses arranging merchant processing around existing checkout or point-of-sale systems
