What it does
Paystation provides hosted and merchant-hosted payment pages, manual card collection, recurring payments and ecommerce integrations. It connects New Zealand businesses to their own bank merchant facility. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of gateway transactions, with setup charges and fees for additional transactions.
PayMe handles invoice collection without a store checkout. Create a form in PayMe admin to collect details such as the invoice number, customer name and address, then copy its payment link into an email. The customer completes the form and continues to the hosted card-payment page.
Monthly gateway plans
All amounts below are NZD, excluding GST. The transaction allowance covers Paystation's gateway service; your bank merchant arrangement is separate.
| Plan | Monthly fee | One-time setup | Included transactions per month | Each additional transaction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Manual Payment | NZ$19 | NZ$99 | 75 | NZ$0.32 |
| Online starter | NZ$39 | NZ$149 | 100 | NZ$0.45 |
| Online Growth | NZ$99 | NZ$149 | 300 | NZ$0.39 |
| Online Enterprise | NZ$149 | NZ$149 | 500 | NZ$0.36 |
Online plans include the API, a software connection, and dashboard access. A 0.25% external-software-provider fee may apply to transactions through supported SaaS platforms. Test, unprocessed and abandoned transactions are excluded from gateway charging.
Getting ready to collect
Apply online, then request an ecommerce Merchant ID from your bank and tell it you are using Paystation. Developers receive a development account and credentials during onboarding. Manual collection can begin after the merchant details are connected; website integrations are checked by Paystation before going live. Paystation does not charge until you are ready to take live card payments.
