What it does

pCon.planner combines interior CAD, furniture configuration and presentation tools. Manufacturer articles can carry product choices and commercial information alongside their 3D geometry, with edition and catalogue access affecting what is available.

PRO can turn selected furnishings into an item list for a proposal. Open Article List from the toolbar or Articles tab, choose all articles or the current selection, and decide whether to combine identical items or filter manufacturers. Confirm with OK to see the list. Ordinary 3D models are excluded until converted into articles.

To create an Excel handoff, use the application menu's Export option, choose Article and select Microsoft Excel. Set the filename and location, save, then choose the article-export settings and confirm Export. The result is an XLSX table. For an OBX handoff, keep Split-up structures disabled when relationships between composite items need to survive.

Article configuration uses the Properties Editor when local OFML data is installed, or the online Configure Article dialog otherwise. Available dimensions, materials and product details depend on the manufacturer's data.

The Marketing Edition is free, and PRO has a 30-day trial with full licences available by request. Public catalogue data is open to everyone. B2B pricing and commercial data require an organisation account, the appropriate catalogue entitlement and each manufacturer's approval. PRO includes the B2B entitlement; it does not remove the approval requirement.

Strengths

  • Article lists can group identical items and filter manufacturers.
  • Excel and OBX handoffs carry selected product information beyond the drawing.

Watch out for

  • Ordinary models need conversion to articles before appearing in an article list.
  • B2B commercial data requires separate approval from each manufacturer.

Best for

  • Interior professionals preparing furnished proposals and item lists
  • Furniture dealers configuring approved manufacturer products
