What it does

PCRecruiter connects candidate, company and position records for recruiting and placement work. Its PCRM interface tracks candidates in a position pipeline, with process stages and the activities recorded within them. Hosted access is billed monthly per user, with setup charged separately.

Link a candidate's Name record to a Position using Link to Position; the candidate enters that position's Pipeline Inbox. Search results and Rollup Lists can also link several candidates at once. The Rollup route skips records already linked to the pipeline.

Use Add Step to move a candidate forward. Add Activity records something within the existing step, such as a completed call, and keeps it in that step's history. Dragging can work differently according to the administrator's setup: a Pop-Up Step opens the details screen, while Move to Step changes the stage directly. Choose a pop-up where an interview move should collect scheduling details. Pipeline steps can also trigger emails or add candidates to groups.

Hosted or installed access

The hosted account charges monthly per user and includes a private database, daily backups and support. Initial setup and training carry a separate one-time fee. PCRecruiter also quotes an enterprise installation for organizations that want to run it on their own server.

Strengths

  • Activities preserve what happened within a particular pipeline step
  • Administrators can choose a detailed pop-up or direct movement for a step

Watch out for

  • Initial setup and training carry a separate one-time fee

Best for

  • Recruiting firms tracking candidates against positions and documenting process history
