What it does
PDF-XChange Editor provides a broad Windows PDF editing feature set. A free version exposes many unrestricted functions, with paid Editor and Editor Plus licenses for additional features.
Choose the exact OCR and portable package needed, then check whether each editing tool belongs to the free, Editor or Editor Plus tier. A tool can be visible yet add demo stamps when the file is saved or exported. Ordinary Editor licences do not cover Plus features such as enhanced OCR and form creation. The vendor documents stamp removal after a valid licence is applied, but Remove all also deletes custom watermarks. Perpetual licences retain eligible versions after maintenance expires; newer versions need current maintenance.
