What it does
PDFBolt generates PDFs from HTML, URLs, and templates. Its template workspace creates HTML and sample data with AI assistance and provides side-by-side comparisons before changes are accepted.
Create a Handlebars template, inspect its data fields and compare proposed code/PDF changes before accepting them. Send the approved template ID and JSON data to the API: Direct returns PDF bytes, Sync returns a link and Async delivers a webhook result. Stored links expire after 24 hours. Free provides 50 conversions monthly, one template, a 2 MB output cap and one one-time AI generation. Paid usage counts each started 5 MB of output as a document. Template preview/diff rendering also uses conversion rate limits, and overages are off by default.
Strengths
- Makes proposed template changes and their PDF effects visible before acceptance.
Watch out for
- Free output is capped at 2 MB; paid large files consume multiple document units, and hosted links expire after 24 hours.
Best for
- Developers building and revising reusable HTML-to-PDF templates
