What it does
PDF Complete edits PDF text and images, recognizes scanned pages, and exports to office and other document formats. Its Office Edition also provides comments, annotations, and a built-in snipping tool.
Use OCR when a scanned page needs text work, then choose an office-format export if editing will continue elsewhere. For an excerpt, Snip can save PDF, JPEG or Bitmap output or copy it to the clipboard. Office 4.2 is sold as a one-time Windows purchase and requires online activation. Its requirements page lists Windows 10 and older systems without naming Windows 11. The public demo is labelled Corporate Edition, has only basic features and watermarks created pages, so it does not establish a full Office OCR/export evaluation.
Strengths
- Combines OCR and document export with a useful excerpt-capture tool.
Watch out for
- Online activation is required; the reviewed requirements omit Windows 11, and the basic Corporate demo does not establish full Office-feature access.
Best for
- Windows users revising and reusing PDF content
