What it does
PDFCrowd converts HTML and web pages to PDF and provides PDF extraction, merging, page operations, and invoice generation. It offers APIs, website buttons, integrations, browser tools, and online converters.
For an application, submit a URL, HTML string or file through a client and receive a saved PDF, bytes or a stream. Referenced assets must be reachable from PDFCrowd's servers or included in an archive; select the main HTML file when an archive contains several. Configure page layout and readiness before converting. The documented API allows 300 MB uploads and 60 seconds of processing. Trial includes 100 test credits for one month. Credits measure output in 0.5 MB increments, while plan-specific rate, concurrency and JavaScript-delay limits remain separate.
Strengths
- Offers several practical entry points to the same PDF-processing service.
Watch out for
- Conversion runs on hosted servers; asset reachability, output-size credits and processing limits affect application workflows.
Best for
- Websites and applications adding PDF exports
