What it does
PDFMate supplies PDF-to-Word, PDF conversion, ebook conversion, and merging products. Free utilities and paid professional offerings are listed in the same product family.
In PDF Converter Free, add PDFs or folders, select pages and Advanced Settings, choose an output format and folder, then Convert and open the result. Choose whole-page images or extract embedded images when those are the real target. Free OCR has speed/quality modes and a three-page limit. The Professional trial has a different restriction: DOCX conversion covers only the first three pages of each PDF. Match the exact format and platform to its edition; the free merger, converter and paid ebook tools serve separate jobs.
Strengths
- Offers focused document and ebook conversion applications.
Watch out for
- Free OCR is limited to three pages; the Professional trial separately restricts DOCX conversion to the first three pages per PDF.
