What it does
PDFreactor renders HTML and CSS into PDF and supports JavaScript-driven layouts. Its feature set includes running elements, grid and flex layouts, tagged PDF generation, and print-oriented output options.
Pass HTML/XML content or a document URL in a fresh conversion configuration, then handle the returned PDF bytes in the application. Set a base URL when inline content uses relative images or stylesheets. The Web Service exposes REST and language clients; local-file access depends on its permissions. Its requested 30-day trial key removes the extra evaluation page but keeps header and footer watermarks. Production requires suitable licensing. PDF/A, PDF/UA and PDF/X capabilities still need the correct configuration and review of the resulting file.
Strengths
- Combines modern web layout with print and tagged-PDF output controls.
Watch out for
- The requested 30-day trial retains evaluation watermarks; production requires an appropriate licence.
Best for
- Applications generating styled business and publishing PDFs
