What it does
PDFResizer provides online PDF resizing, cropping, merging, splitting, conversion, and page organization. It distinguishes paper dimensions from image resolution and includes multiple-pages-per-sheet layouts.
Upload PDFs or supported Office/EPUB files, select paper size or a 72, 150 or 300 dpi resolution preset, then resize and download each result. The resize tool allows up to 500 files with a combined 100 MB size, and applies the same settings to the whole batch. Lower resolution can reduce image detail; increasing it cannot restore detail already lost. Use crop or N-up tools when margins or handout layout are the real problem. The service requires no registration and says uploaded files are deleted within one hour.
Strengths
- Provides separate controls for paper size, resolution, margins, and page arrangement.
Watch out for
- Resize batches share one set of settings and are limited to 100 MB combined; lower image resolution can lose detail.
Best for
- Preparing PDF handouts and resizing scanned documents
