What it does
PearPass is an open-source password and identity manager that stores vaults locally and uses peer-to-peer synchronization between the owner's devices.
PearPass stores a local vault and replicates it between devices. Its documentation lists desktop, mobile and browser-extension paths; the product page describes peer-to-peer sync using Autobase and Hyperswarm. The project says the recovery phrase is the way to restore a vault from scratch, so it needs to remain available independently of those devices.
The desktop repository currently displays a notice that active development is paused. That is relevant when choosing the desktop client for ongoing use. Its desktop code is published under Apache License 2.0.
