What it does
PeeringDB is a freely available, user-maintained database of networks, Internet exchanges, facilities and interconnection organizations.
Search a network name or ASN in PeeringDB to find its reported exchanges, facilities and organizational relationships. These are user-maintained entries, so confirm operational details before treating a listing as an interconnection commitment. The documented API can return an object or list as JSON, supporting reuse alongside the web directory. Registering an account is a separate step for organizational affiliation and editing: requests go through existing administrators or PeeringDB support, with some RDAP-based approval cases. The database is freely available. Use the current API specification, since the documentation labels API v3 as a draft.
