What it does
Pennylane combines invoices, connected bank transactions and accounting work for French businesses and their accountants. Teams can match payments, follow cash flow and prepare ledger reports, closing work and French declarations. Paid plans have a 15-day trial, while full in-house accounting requires the appropriate subscription and user role.
Pennylane carries accounting records from collection through reporting and close. Invoice imports and bank connections provide the underlying data; matching and analytical categories prepare it for the books. Teams can inspect ledger reports, comment on documents and follow up on missing information.
Match one payment to several bills
For a supplier payment covering several invoices, open Transactions and select the payment. At Justificatif, choose Chercher une facture importée. Filter by supplier, date or amount, select the invoices and watch the remaining amount fall to zero, then choose Rapprocher.
The invoices become Payée and the transaction becomes Justifiée, with the linked amounts visible in its details. You can match part of the payment and return later. A match in a closed financial year cannot be detached in the ordinary interface; reopening the year requires the accountant or an administrator at the accounting firm.

This displayed offer includes up to 1,200 invoices a year and a 15-day trial. Company plans and user bands have different prices. The Collaboratif offer is available through an accounting firm's invitation and is normally paid by that firm; an independently opened account requires a paid subscription.
Accounting access is a separate permission
To work in the full accounting interface, a company needs Premium avec comptabilité internalisée and the Comptable interne role. Ordinary Premium and the Dirigeant/Admin role alone do not grant that access.
A permitted administrator invites colleagues through Paramètres entreprise > Gestion de l'équipe > + Inviter un utilisateur. Each person accepts an email invitation and creates an individual account. User bands distinguish management users from employees: the five-user band allows up to two management users and three employees. Independent one-user accounts cannot add colleagues, though they can give an external accountant access.
