What it does
Pentaho Business Analytics provides web-based analysis, dashboard design and operational reporting. Its analytical tools sit alongside data-modelling and embedding capabilities within the wider Pentaho offering.
Pentaho Business Analytics offers exploratory analysis, dashboards and formatted operational reports. Analyzer is the interactive part: users arrange dimensions and measures from an existing analytical model.
For the documented sample, sign into the Pentaho User Console and select Create New > Analysis Report. Choose SteelWheels: SteelWheelsSales. Put Territory in Rows, Years in Columns and Sales in Measures. Adding Line above Territory lets the report group product lines; its context menu can display subtotals.
Open Show Filters, drag in Territory and select APAC to restrict the result to that region. After reviewing the updated sales table, use Save As to choose a folder and report name. The resulting analysis retains the arrangement and filter.

| Starter | Excludes Business Analytics |
| Standard | Includes unlimited support and containerization |
| Premium | Adds 24-hour support and expanded integration |
| Enterprise | Broadest commercial scope, quoted for the deployment |
Pricing is quoted for the intended installation. The advertised 30-day PDI trial concerns Data Integration; Business Analytics access needs its own confirmed scope.
