What it does

Perlego provides subscription access to academic books and works with institutional customers. Readers can move between desktop and mobile reading.

Create a free account to inspect the exact book and edition before choosing a subscription. Its details distinguish Essential, Complete and Unavailable access. A title excluded by your plan may need an upgrade, while a publisher’s country restriction or removal cannot be solved by upgrading. Check institutional access before paying personally.

Read on a desktop through the browser, or use the iOS or Android app for offline books. Downloads stay inside that app rather than becoming owned ebook files. Perlego describes service availability worldwide, with region-based prices and publisher rights determining what a particular account can read.

How the SI Score works →

Unconfirmed details may be unassessed, absent from the pages checked or temporarily unreadable. A missing price does not mean the service is free.

Supporting pages for product usefulness, site facts, prices and separate website checks. Each record keeps its own date. Reading a page does not establish how well the product performs in use.
