What it does

Comet is a browser from Perplexity that works as a personal assistant. The site says it can automate tasks, research the web, organize email, build websites, create study plans and shop. A download is offered for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android.

The page shows a Download Comet link and lists availability for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android. It gives example uses: asking how different news outlets cover a topic, building a basic website with a generator tool, drafting an email reply that shares an upcoming schedule, creating a study plan from a syllabus, and buying an office chair. A FAQ section covers platforms, installation, the search engine used, whether Comet is free, making it the default browser, privacy settings and safe browsing. The page also links a Comet Resource Hub and says ways to use Comet include handling inboxes, ordering groceries, staying on top of finances and planning vacations. The copyright notice reads 2025 Perplexity.
