What it does
Persepolis Download Manager is a free, open-source application with multi-segment downloads, queues and scheduling across desktop operating systems.
Arrange a named queue for downloads that should run in a chosen window. The project’s queue guide adds existing tasks, new links or a text list with one link per line, then sets a start/end time and starts that queue. Persepolis also provides segmented retrieval and browser-integration guidance across desktop platforms. Package choice matters: the 5.2 release adds a standalone Linux bundle, while its FreeBSD notes warn that the repository package is old and direct users to separate installation guidance. The software is free and open source; media-site support and integration setup vary with the installed release.
