What it does
PhotoFunia is an online photo-effects catalogue with filters, vintage treatments, frames and themed photo compositions.
Search for the result you want, select the effect and supply a JPG, PNG or GIF. A face-based composition needs a well-lit, front-facing subject; dark, very bright or turned faces can be hard for the detector to use. Other effects apply a frame, treatment or text composition instead. PhotoFunia processes remotely and needs an internet connection. Its help says uploaded pictures remain active for a few hours before automatic removal, so it should not be treated as photo storage.
Strengths
- Searchable and categorized photo effects
Watch out for
- Processing requires internet, and face-based effects can fail on poorly lit or turned subjects.
Best for
- Making a themed photo composition
