What it does
PICOLAY is a Windows image-series processor for focus stacking, alignment, brightness harmonization, basic corrections and depth-map outputs.
PICOLAY selects sharp regions from a focus series, aligns offsets, harmonizes brightness and can copy source regions with depth information into the result. It also generates depth maps, stereo views and GIFs. The English manual dated March 8, 2020 says Enhance Image has no Undo but creates newly named files. Choose the generated format in Options and use Save Result As when needed. The current About page permits free non-commercial use and asks for a project citation when publishing generated images.
