What it does
Pintu provides Indonesian rupiah crypto trading through mobile apps and a desktop Pro interface. Simple purchases, Pro Spot and futures have different controls. Identity verification unlocks trading and rupiah withdrawals, which go to Indonesian banks.
A closer look at Pro Spot
Open a market from Markets, the homepage or Trade. Choose a market order for an immediate trade or a limit order for a specified price, then enter the amount or use the percentage slider. Review the details carefully: an executed market order cannot be cancelled.
Pintu Pro Spot lists standard execution fees of 0.12% for makers and 0.17% for takers. The schedule effective 1 October 2026 adds a 0.00555% CFX fee on both sides and 0.21% income tax on sales. These are the Pro Spot terms, not a universal price for every Pintu product.
Local banking and ID requirements
In the app, go to Account > Verify Account > Start Verification. Indonesian citizens need an E-KTP. Foreign applicants use a passport with the supporting residence or home-country identity documents described in the foreign-customer guide. Rupiah withdrawals are processed only to Indonesian banks. US citizens, US-born applicants and US green-card holders are excluded by that guide.
The same verification status works across the app and Pro Web. Futures remain a separate product with leverage and liquidation risk; ordinary spot holdings can also lose value.
Strengths
- Pro Spot is available on desktop as well as mobile
- App and Pro Web share verification status
Watch out for
- Rupiah withdrawals require an Indonesian bank
- Pro Spot costs include an exchange levy and a separate sale tax
Best for
- Eligible Indonesian banking customers who want both simple and detailed crypto order interfaces
