What it does
Pixabay offers photos, illustrations, vectors, videos, music and other media for creative projects. Covered content is free to download and adapt without mandatory attribution, including commercial uses within the licence limits. Its asset pages provide a Free Download button and a size selector.
Choose the media and download size
Select a media category, search for the subject, then open the individual asset page. Choose Free Download, or use the adjacent down arrow to select an available size. The library includes 3D models and GIFs as well as images, footage and audio.
Reuse is subject to restrictions
Pixabay prohibits distributing or selling content as a substantially unchanged standalone file. Recognizable logos and brands bring additional commercial-use restrictions, and the licence does not clear every privacy or property right. A filter, slight crop or colour change alone is generally insufficient to turn an image into a resale product.
For video projects, note that some music is registered with YouTube Content ID and can trigger a claim. Tracks marked with the shield icon provide a download certificate.
