What it does
TwistedBrush Pro Studio is Windows painting software built around editable natural-media and procedural brushes. Layers, painted masks and reference images support detailed illustration. The current Legacy purchase bundles version 26 with premium ArtSets, and a fully featured 15-day trial is available.
Shape the brush as well as the painting
The brush-effects editor sequences effects and time envelopes to change how marks behave. A simpler Brush Control panel exposes selected settings for each Pro brush. Artists can share brush codes or import other users’ designs.
For reference-based work, create a reference window from clipboard contents through the Edit menu. It can be resized, zoomed and sampled for colour. A selection can also become a palette. Tracing paper shows another image beneath the active painting, while masks protect areas from changes.
Native TBR projects and common image formats, including PSD and WebP, are supported. The Legacy offer names version 26 specifically; historical licence explanations describe several older upgrade arrangements, so they should not be read as promises about this purchase.
