What it does

Planable provides shared content planning, previews, feedback, approvals and social scheduling. Feed, calendar, grid and list views help teams review content, with optional analytics and social-inbox products extending the workflow. The initial 50-post allowance does not replenish; continued publishing then requires a workspace subscription.

Planable keeps discussion beside the post preview. On Pro and Enterprise, internal posts and comments let an agency's editor prepare a draft privately before sharing it with a client. Team members can see internal notes; client roles only see the material shared with them.

Create a company account and a workspace for each brand or client, then connect its social pages. A client connecting pages needs Administrator permission in that workspace. Select the destination pages, add the media and text, and choose a date and time. The approval settings decide whether the post can proceed without a review, needs one approver or must pass through several stages.

Plan Monthly price per workspace, USD Created posts per month Social pages Approval choices
Basic 39 60 4 None or optional
Pro 59 150 10 Adds required approval
Enterprise Custom quote Unlimited Agreed capacity Adds multiple approval stages

All include unlimited users. Annual billing is available. Feed and calendar views are included in Basic, Pro adds a grid, and Enterprise adds the list view for bulk work. Analytics, Social Inbox and listening have separate commercial terms; their network coverage differs from publishing, with inbox DMs covering Facebook and Instagram.

The free start is a one-time allowance of 50 created posts with no time limit or card requirement. It never replenishes, even when posts are deleted. A Facebook post copied to LinkedIn uses two posts. Once that allowance is spent, publishing requires a paid plan; it is not a recurring free publishing tier.

Strengths

  • Internal comments and posts support a private review before client sharing
  • Workspace billing includes unlimited reviewers and team users

Watch out for

  • The initial 50-post allowance never resets or replenishes after deletion
  • Private internal collaboration and required approvals start with Pro
  • Inbox and analytics coverage differs from publishing coverage

Best for

  • Agencies with distinct internal and client approval stages
