What it does
PLANETCALC groups online calculators for dates, engineering, navigation, statistics and everyday questions.
PLANETCALC groups practical and specialist calculations by subject. Its cylindrical-tank inner-volume page takes outer length and diameter in meters and wall thickness in millimeters, then reports usable, wall and total volumes in cubic meters. The explanation subtracts wall volume from the total, so this is a geometric capacity estimate from the supplied dimensions. Decimal-place precision is selectable. Link, Save and Widget controls are shown, and the sharing notice says anyone receiving the calculation link can view it. Other tank pages address liquid level and tilt, which are different questions from full internal capacity.
