What it does
Plau publishes Brazilian typefaces including Amarta, Grama, Pacaembu, Tenez and Motiva Sans, alongside custom font work. Its catalog includes an archetype filter for exploring a brand’s intended personality.
Choose an archetype in the catalog to narrow the visual direction, then open a family to inspect what it actually offers. Grama translates football-pitch geometry into circular letters, low accents and small cuts at stroke joins. Its page lists eight weights with italics and a variable version, with separate family and individual-style prices.
Plau sizes ordinary licensing by the whole organisation. In the cart, Freelancer suits one independent user; a company selects the band matching all its staff. The formal agreement covers the licence holder’s own business or internal work. Although the cart offers a client-named purchase and share cart, services for third parties require a separate arrangement. Confirm that coverage before using the fonts for agency work.
The base licence does not expire. Purchases arrive by email with download links that last 30 days, and replacement links can be requested. The formal agreement sets exceptions for audiovisual work, streaming and services for third parties. App coverage also differs between the family summary and general licensing pages, so obtain suitable coverage directly before planning that use.
