What it does
AndroMoney tracks income, expenses, account balances and transfers across Android, iOS and a web service. It suits people who want monthly category budgets and a detailed manual spending history. The free Android edition contains ads; Pro removes them while retaining the same core functions.
A broad category can have more precise entries beneath it. AndroMoney's hierarchical categories and custom attributes retain that detail while reports show either the wider spending picture or a narrower budget.
Create separate accounts for cash, cards or bank balances, and record transfers between them. Categories can be changed for income, spending and transfers, while project tags provide another way to group expenses. Monthly category targets can trigger budget-exceeded alerts.
Android Pro and moving existing records
The US Google Play listing prices Pro at US$3.99. Its publisher describes the same functions as the free edition, with advertising removed. Installing Pro also removes ads from the free app if you prefer that interface.
To move the database, use Menu > Export/Import > Backup Database > SD in AndroMoney, then Menu > Export/Import > Import From AndroMoney > SD in Pro. On Android 10 and later, current Pro exports and database backups are saved under Download/AndroMoney.
The web service offers Google sign-in. Multi-device synchronization connects records across the mobile and web clients.
