What it does
OneTwoApps' My Budget Book records income, expenses and recurring entries on Android. Its budgets can follow a personal pay cycle and restrict spending by category, account or payment type. The US Google Play listing charges US$5.99 once, with optional donations; the local app does not require a service account.
A pay cycle that starts on the fifteenth does not fit a calendar-month budget. My Budget Book lets the month begin on the salary date, while individual budgets can use weekly, monthly or other custom periods. Set a category or payment-type limit and decide whether unused or owed amounts should roll forward.
Bring bank records into the app
The app does not connect to your bank. Download a CSV statement from your bank, copy the file to the Android device and import it into My Budget Book. You can then reconcile the recorded expenses against the statement. For records outside the app, export to HTML, Excel or CSV.
OneTwoApps says the app has no Internet permission. Its newer file-storage support can nevertheless use compatible cloud providers through Android's file picker. The integrated manual's Synchronization chapter explains backups and use on more than one device.
The purchase has no paid feature upgrades or advertising.
