What it does
PlayingCards.io creates shared rooms where players move cards and other objects in real time. Rooms can use existing games or custom setups.
Start a room and share its code with your group. The key limitation is deliberate: players enforce turns and rules themselves, like a physical table. Use a separate voice or chat service while playing, since synchronized objects do not supply the whole conversation around the table.
For a custom game, the room editor can include dice and automations as well as your card graphics. Agree on the rules with the group before sharing the code, since automating an object action does not turn the table into a full rules engine.
Strengths
- Customizable rooms and card graphics
- Live synchronization between players
Watch out for
- Players enforce rules and turns themselves
- Conversation uses another service
Best for
