What it does
Playnite is a free, open-source game-library manager that can combine several PC stores and emulated games in one interface.
Import the store libraries you use, then organize installed and uninstalled games in the same view. You can also add games manually and include emulated titles, which makes Playnite useful for a collection that extends beyond one storefront.
Use full-screen controller mode when the computer is connected to a television, or keep the desktop interface for library maintenance. Themes and extensions allow further changes. Store integrations organize access to your games; they do not replace the original game licenses, accounts or launchers.
Playnite stores library information locally on your PC. Metadata downloads and store connections still contact those services, but the organizer does not require a remote Playnite library account. Its portable mode can also suit a collection kept on removable storage.
