What it does
PlayStation App connects iOS and Android users to PlayStation friends, the store, supported console downloads and selected PS5 capture features.
Use the app to queue a download before returning to the console, provided its power and connection settings support the action. It can also show supported PS5 captures, but those uploads have duration and retention limits. A PlayStation account is required; this companion app is separate from PS Remote Play.
Uploaded PS5 captures remain in the app for 14 days, and eligible clips are limited to three minutes. Enable the capture feature or console auto-upload first. Download a capture to the phone’s storage if you want to keep it beyond the app’s viewing window.
