Pluto TV

Pluto suits channel surfing as well as choosing a particular programme. Its updated guide supports favourite channels and forward browsing, while dedicated film and show areas provide genre routes into on-demand viewing. Where a scheduled programme also has an on-demand version, the live-to-library panel can take you to it or restart it from the beginning.

That connection is useful when joining a programme late, but it only applies when an on-demand version is available. Paramount describes Pluto and Paramount+ as distinct free and premium services even as they share underlying technology.
