What it does
Punjab National Bank’s corporate internet banking serves Indian business customers who have completed the bank’s identity checks. It supports single-user or multi-user access, salary payments and scheduled or recurring transfers. Registration has no charge, while fees for payments and other account services depend on the transaction.
Separate company limits from individual authority
A business's overall transaction limit and an individual user's authority are separate controls. PNB supports limits by account, user, transaction type and number of beneficiaries. A company can also restrict the time during which a user can log in.
Future Transaction Management handles scheduled and recurring instructions. The browser service connects with the PNB One Biz corporate app, and includes salary payments, bulk transfers and tax payments.
How corporate registration works
Sole proprietors can register online using a debit card. Other eligible corporate customers submit PNB-1212 R through a branch; the form is available from PNB's internet-banking site. The bank requires a corporate account with completed identity verification.
Single-user and multi-user profiles let the account setup reflect the business's approval arrangements. PNB supports verification by a one-time password or digital certificate.
Transfer charges and limits
Internet and mobile banking registration is free. An offline duplicate-password request through a branch normally costs INR 50 plus applicable tax.
For online IMPS transfers, the standard tariff is:
| Transfer amount | Fee before GST |
|---|---|
| Up to INR 1,000 | INR 0 |
| INR 1,001 to INR 100,000 | INR 5 |
| Above INR 100,000 | INR 10 |
IMPS has a maximum of INR 500,000 per transaction. Customers can set lower transaction and daily limits. It accepts a recipient's account number and IFSC bank code, or the supported mobile-number routes. PNB provides Validate Beneficiary Name before payment.
For example, a business can keep an overall account ceiling while assigning a smaller payment limit to a staff user. Those controls operate within the bank's transfer limits and the business's approved permissions.
