What it does
Poached lists restaurant and hospitality work with categories for floor, kitchen, bar, barista, management, counter and hotel roles. Its service also distinguishes shifts from ordinary job postings, with a US-focused vacancy feed.
Choose the workplace function first. A kitchen position and a front-of-house role can belong to the same restaurant but require different experience and schedules. The feed shows employers, cities and job descriptions, helping make the search more specific than a general hospitality keyword.
All Shifts is a separate route from the role categories, useful when looking for a particular shift arrangement rather than an ongoing vacancy. Read the selected opportunity for the hours, workplace and requested experience. Visible adverts include morning cooking, evening bar work, part-time service and management, so the title alone does not settle the commitment. Signup, help and How It Works provide other entry points for the candidate workflow, while Post a Job and Post a Shift belong to employers.
Poached Shifts is available through the app. Before booking, complete the shift profile, availability, any required permits or certifications, orientation and Stripe direct-deposit setup. Available shifts can book immediately; otherwise you join a waitlist. After working, use the app to clock time and review the invoice for payment.
