What it does
Podomatic provides recording, publishing, promotion and podcast listening tools.
Record and publish a trailer before the first full episode, then submit the show's feed to listening directories. The Free offer lists 500 MB of stored media, 15 GB of monthly bandwidth and the first 20 episodes. Storage counts uploaded files; bandwidth counts the audio delivered when people play or download them and resets monthly.
That distinction matters when estimating an archive: a small set of popular episodes can use much more delivery capacity than storage. Paid plans expand the allowances. An import route supports moving an existing show, while directory acceptance remains a separate step.
