Poliigon

Poliigon combines PBR materials, models and HDRIs, with in-application browsing and importing for Blender, SketchUp, 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. Its catalogue separates surfaces such as wood, fabric, glass and imperfections from scene objects and lighting environments.

A free account accesses a limited asset selection that permits personal and commercial projects. Paid Unlimited plans open the premium library. The Individual licence serves solo professionals; a multi-person organization needs Business licensing even if only one person handles the assets. Business sharing stays within the licensed business rather than extending across separate corporate entities.

Downloaded assets remain licensed after cancellation, but Unlimited downloads are not kept in My Assets for later retrieval. Once that subscription ends, premium files cannot be re-downloaded or re-imported through the plugins. Fair-use rules allow local copies for production while prohibiting bulk library mirroring and automated downloads.

Finished renders and games are covered uses. Delivering a scene with extractable Poliigon assets to a client is restricted, including when textures have been baked. Standard licensing also excludes AI or machine-learning use; those uses need a separate arrangement.
