What it does
Port87 is an email-hosting service built around label-specific addresses. It documents sender screening, custom domains and changing an individual label address when it receives unwanted mail.
Port87 gives each label its own email address. Shopping receipts can arrive under one label and personal correspondence under another, with an address that can be changed or blocked without replacing the rest.
Screening labels add verification for first-time senders. That may fit a public contact address, while a label receiving automated account updates needs a different delivery arrangement. The service also supports custom domains and a mobile web app that can be added to the home screen.
Strengths
- Label-specific addresses organize mail as it arrives.
- Individual label addresses can be changed or blocked.
- Custom domains and first-sender screening are documented.
Best for
- People who want address-based inbox organization and sender screening
