What it does
Portseido imports broker trade-history files and analyzes portfolio allocation, dividends and investment performance. It supports manual entries as well as imports, with time-weighted and money-weighted return views. A free account tracks one portfolio up to 100 transactions; paid plans raise those limits.
Portseido brings trades, dividends and fees into one portfolio record. You can inspect allocation by business, sector, industry or asset class, then review income and returns. Web, iOS and Android access let you follow the same portfolio on different devices.
Bring in a trade history
- Export the trade history or statement from your broker using Portseido's broker-specific instructions.
- In Portseido, select the + button at the top right, then Upload Files.
- Choose the data source, upload the export and review the parsed transactions.
- Correct any entries that need attention, then select Save.
You can also add trades manually or use its spreadsheet template. For international securities, check the exchange suffix rather than entering a US ticker by mistake. Portseido's default transaction currency can depend on the asset or transaction type, so review currency and commission fields when combining brokers.
Time-weighted return reduces the effect of deposits and withdrawals when comparing investment performance. Money-weighted return reflects their size and timing. These views answer different questions, so a difference between the figures is not automatically a calculation error.
| Plan | USD price | Transaction and portfolio limits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 100 transactions and one portfolio |
| Plus | $8 per month, billed annually | Unlimited transactions and one portfolio |
| Pro | $12 per month, billed annually | Unlimited transactions and multiple portfolios |
All plans include reports and automatic dividend and split handling. New users can try Pro for 14 days without a credit card. Broker file support is broader than direct account-sync support; use the setup instructions for your own broker to choose the right import method.
