What it does

Postpone combines social scheduling, a content library, an inbox and team collaboration. Permissions control account connections, content access and replies, while selected plans add post reviews and approvals. You can register with Google or an email address for free without a card, and paid plans offer 14-day trials.

Give a teammate access to the accounts they actually manage before sharing the publishing calendar. Postpone separates account management, content visibility, public-comment replies and private-message replies. An agency can send a client a connection link, then assign the resulting account to the appropriate team members. Shared saved replies, brand settings and account-specific schedules keep each client's work organised.

On a plan with reviews and approvals, open Settings > Team and choose Permissions beside a teammate. Requires post approval blocks publishing until sign-off; Can approve posts assigns the reviewer. Settings > Social Accounts can make approval mandatory for a particular account.

Submit new posts or selected drafts with a review note. In Review requests stay on the calendar. In Approvals, the reviewer can edit and approve, request changes, or cancel the request to return posts to drafts. Authors can revise and resubmit.

The ongoing Free plan supports basic scheduling after you connect your social accounts. Paid subscriptions offer monthly or annual billing and a fourteen-day trial, with allowances for social accounts, scheduled posts and analytics history that differ by plan. To upgrade, choose Individuals & Small Teams or Agencies & Brands on the Plans page, select the billing interval and use Subscribe.

Strengths

  • Permissions separate public replies, private messages and content access
  • Review requests support edits, change requests and resubmission
  • Approval can be required for a particular social account regardless of the author

Watch out for

  • Formal post reviews and approvals require a qualifying plan
  • Connected accounts, scheduled posts and analytics history have plan-specific limits

Best for

  • Creators and agencies sharing content preparation across assigned social accounts
