What it does
PowerGREP searches file collections, documents and archives, with separate replacement, extraction and file-processing actions.
Select the intended files and inspect matches before applying a literal or regex replacement. Search supports documents, spreadsheets, email and archives, but each format's replacement support needs checking separately. Configure backup names and locations to retain separate numbered sets or compressed archives. Undo History persists across sessions and tracks changed files with their backups; undo remains possible only while those backup copies exist. The free evaluation can be downloaded without registration and provides fifteen days of actual use.
