What it does
Preppy Kitchen is John Kanell's recipe publication, with collections for cookies, cakes, brownies, breads, breakfasts and other cooking. It also publishes dinner recipes, seasonal baking and related cookbook material.
The bake-type categories are the most direct route when you know what you want to make. Choose a cake, cookie or bread group, then inspect the particular recipe's ingredients and preparation. Breakfast browsing provides a separate path to pancakes, waffles, muffins and scones.
The archive includes ordinary meals as well as dessert projects, so a recipe search need not begin with sweets. Cookbook and newsletter material are additional offerings. For a first visit, one familiar category gives a clearer task than trying to browse the entire publication at once.
