What it does
PriceCheck compares South African retailer offers across consumer categories. Product pages provide shop links, price-history and alert routes, with a separate Premium offer promoted for additional features.
PriceCheck's useful unit of comparison is the named product and its merchant offers. A page can show a range, links to the individual shops and a price-drop alert, rather than only a general deals feed. Start with the exact model and capacity, then use the merchant links to investigate the current offer. The site warns that its refreshed shop details may not reflect real-time changes. Some comparison fields can also remain in a loading state, so the merchant page remains necessary for the actual purchase conditions. The service's price and catalogue context is South African.
