What it does
Prime Video presents films, television and Amazon Originals through a browseable catalogue. The public site separates included Prime viewing from other viewing offers.
Open the offer on the film or episode you want before choosing how to pay. Included with Prime titles belong to the membership selection, which changes over time. Rentals and purchases are separate paid offers available to members and non-members, while add-on services charge their own subscription fees. Rentals are time-limited, so choose that route only when the stated viewing window fits your plans. The catalogue is useful for finding an Amazon Original, but a displayed title does not establish that your membership includes it.
Strengths
- The catalogue exposes an 'Included with Prime' distinction.
Watch out for
- Rentals, purchases and add-on subscriptions can require payment beyond the membership.
Best for
- Viewers checking access to Amazon Originals
