PrivadoVPN

PrivadoVPN's current page presents a broader security bundle, so separate the tunnel from the extras while comparing plans. SOCKS5 proxy support is listed for applications that need a proxy connection, while antivirus, threat filtering and parental controls address different tasks. The site also indicates that a free plan is available. Start by deciding which application needs which connection method; a proxy setting should not be assumed to provide the same scope as the device VPN.

Privado's policy says it does not keep VPN activity or session-IP logs. It separately describes app-version information, aggregate usage, crash reports and mobile identifiers. Android's TrustedNetwork feature uses location permission to read the connected Wi-Fi name; the policy says that information stays on the device. Website advertising and cookie choices are another category and should be considered separately from the encrypted VPN connection.

The dedicated free-plan page advertises 10 GB at uncapped speed each month. It also discusses unlimited data with limited-speed access, so the high-speed allowance is the useful number to compare for sustained use.
